Hold onto your socks, because here’s what’s in store for 2024:
- Wacky Wednesdays! Wednesdays will be anything but ordinary. Dive into costume chaos each week and unleash your inner hero with brand-new themes like Wizarding Wednesday and Superhero Day. All Wednesday activities will be tied into the theme of the day. So, dust off those capes and wands. It’s time to let your imagination run wild!
- Epic Adventures! This summer, every unit will embark on an off-camp trip, at least once a session. We’re talking heart-pounding waterpark fun at Splash Down, adrenaline-pumping rollercoasters at Lake Compounce, and — for the first time — brick-tastic building bonanzas at LegoLand! Teenside will be visiting Six Flags! Get pumped, because the world is your playground.
- Celebrate America with the July 4th Carnival! Games, inflatables, cotton candy mountains, dunk tanks, and a BBQ — topped off with a fireworks finale that will light up the night. Get ready to wave your flags and sing your hearts out for our nation’s birthday.
- Color Run will blast you with rainbow hues! Dodge and drench yourself in a kaleidoscope of vibrant powder. Let your inner athlete shine and leave the camp a canvas of color.
- Shalom, Chaverim! Israel Day returns with cultural delights and delicious eats. Immerse yourself in the vibrancy of Israeli traditions, food, music, and dance. Yes, the Tzofim Friendship Caravan/Israeli Scouts will be back! It’s a cultural celebration you won’t want to miss.
- Olympics will be back … but “when” is anybody’s guess!? Last year we provided live updates on social media. We may even be polling your opinion on themes. So make sure to follow SLC on social media … links are at the bottom right side of this page.
