Boulder Hill Weekly Update
Wow, this week was a blast!
We started the week with a beautiful Shabbat service, followed by our first Shabbat walk where we got to spend time with the Mainside campers. Many of our Teenside campers were so excited to finally see their younger siblings and friends. It was such a beautiful sunny day spent by the lake.
On Tuesday, some of our campers performed in the All Camp Show, which was “Hercules” this year. Our campers did an INCREDIBLE job and blew everyone away with their talent. After a standing ovation, our camp Olympics broke out which was super exciting for everyone. All of camp was then divided into four teams: the Red Cabbage Patch Dolls, Blue Smurfs, Black Rubiks Cubes and White Nintendo. The next 24 hours consisted of various competitive activities such as volleyball, soccer, swimming, dance, and song/ cheer. Because each bunk was on the same team, all of these activities were a really fun opportunity for our Boulder Hill groups to bond and get to know each other better. Everyone had a wonderful day full of ruach (spirit)! In the end, the Red Cabbage Patch Dolls took first place. Most importantly, everyone had a very fun-filled day!
We are so excited for the last couple of days we have planned this session. We can’t believe how fast the time has gone, but you know what they say- time flies when you’re having fun!!
