Experience a unique and uplifting Rosh Hashanah service surrounded by the beauty of our lakeside camp. \nOur child-friendly\, inclusive service features inspiring music\, meaningful traditions\, and a warm\, camp-like atmosphere. Whether you’re a seasoned Rosh Hashanah observer or new to the holiday\, you’ll find a welcoming space to connect with the spirit of the season. \n\nStay and play after the service! Enjoy a variety of optional family activities\, including an engaging PJ Library storytime\, spiritual hike\, singing\, and more.\nJoin us for lunch! At 1pm\, we offer a luncheon\, complete with bagels\, cream cheese\, lox\, salads\, and more.\n\nDon’t miss this opportunity to create lasting memories with family and friends. \nThe fee for this program is $36 per adult. This mini-adventure for new campers helps your child dip their toe into the magic of sleepaway camp. Campers will experience a hike\, a Shabbat program\, a campfire and s’mores\, daily swims in our lake or pool\, an ice cream sundae party\, singing\, ballfield activities\, boating\, arts & crafts\, drama\, and much more! \nGet Your Feet Wet is staffed by hand-picked summer staff members who bring with them electric energy! Aquatics are supervised by certified lifeguards and a nurse is present at all times. Spirit\, caring\, and outstanding supervision are guaranteed. \nTuition for the program is $500. This event happens RAIN OR SHINE\, so please check the weather and dress accordingly.  Snacks and a bagel lunch with sides will be provided. We only ask that they work on the same project as their parents. Teens (13+) can either stay with their families or help out with the Teenside projects. The SLC Alumni Association will retain fifty percent of the cash pool\, which will be used to benefit Surprise Lake Camp.  The remaining money will go to the winners\, as follows: \nEnd of game winner: $900**\n1st half winner: $450\n1st quarter winner: $225\n3rd quarter winner: $225 \n**Please note that if the game goes to overtime\, the 4th quarter winner and the end of game winner will split the $900 prize ($450 each). \nClick here to view the 2026 grid.  Please note there are two grids.  If you purchased your box(es) after Jan 20\, you are likely in Box #2 (on the right). \nHow It Works: \nPeople participate by purchasing boxes on a 10 x 10 grid (boxes selected at random/we will not be honoring specific requests). Once you sign up and pay (below)\, your name will be written on a box in the grid. Once all boxes have been filled in\, the grid is labeled 0 through 9 in random order along the horizontal and vertical axis. These numbers correspond to score tallies for the two teams in the game. At the end of each quarter of the game\, whichever box corresponds to the trailing digit of the scores for each team wins a portion of the pot in the pool. For example\, at the end of the first half for the 1969 Super Bowl\, the New York Jets led the Baltimore Colts 7-0.
