Highlights of the Day:
Today is Rookie Day! Rookie Day is a program for prospective campers ages 6-12. They get to try Camp for a day, buddied up with a camper their age. The program helps to give our current campers a taste of leadership and responsibility while making a new friend. If you know someone who may be interested, there is another Rookie Day on August 4th! Click here for more information.
Merrylane is going on a hike.
Boys going into 10th grade are headed to Camp Kinder Ring for a soccer game.
Tonight, Mini Camp is going on an overnight to one of our campsites where they will set up tents, cook dinner over the fire and roast marshmallows. Overnights are a great bonding experience for campers. They stargaze, play games and build confidence as they sleep outdoors for the evening, and wake up in the morning to hike back down to Camp.
We are entering our last week of first session. It’s unbelievable how fast the time has gone, but there is so much in store for the next seven days. From the All Camp Show, to Sing, and the slideshow. Campers still have so many more memories to make. Stay tuned.
