With two weeks left of Camp, we are kicking off a busy week. Sherwood, Merrylane and Work Program leave on a three-day trip to Amish Country and Hershey Park! After leaving Camp early this morning, they are headed to Pennsylvania to tour Indian Caves.
Today we welcome perspective families for our second Rookie Day of the summer. Rookie Day is a one-day program in which campers get to tour Camp along with their families and then join a group for a day in the life of an SLC camper. 1902 Society members are coming to Camp today for an annual appreciation barbecue. Members have the opportunity to join Campers for an activity at Teva, Arts & Crafts or on the ball field.
This evening, Idyllwood and Frontier are going on overnights. They’ll hike up to one of our campsites, cook dinner over the fire, set up tents and roast marshmallows upon other bonding activities.
