What a Surprise
|Breakfast||Ice cream and waffles! Shh, don't tell the campers|
In the morning we provide a breakfast bar with fresh fruit, assorted cereals, yogurt, granola, and hard boiled eggs.
Partly cloudy with a chance of afternoon showers. A high of 88°F and a low of 71°F.
Highlights of the Day:
The day has come, our hearts are heavy but full of new memories to cherish. It’s Departure Day, and our campers are headed home. Some are off to Poland, Israel, Austria, and Italy and others are headed home around the United States. One of the amazing things about Surprise Lake Camp is our diverse community. Campers coexist in this place we call home, leave for the year to grow and learn and then return. Everyone comes from a different background and upbringing, yet we all call Camp home.
Yesterday afternoon, SLC Sing took place at the Eddie Cantor Theater. The theme was “friends” and the units each came up with a routine that they’ve been working on for the last few weeks. Congratulations to Timberline for winning! We will be posting the Sing videos soon
The countdown to next summer begins, but first – we welcome our Get Your Feet Wet campers on Wednesday for five days of Camp!
