Alumni Day 2024

  • Guests who join today will have their alumni day entry fee waived.
  • We are delighted when SLC alumni choose to send their own children to SLC.  Indeed, we have 2nd, 3rd, and even 4th generation campers! For the first time, Alumni Day and Rookie Day will be held in tandem this year! If you have kids (or grandkids) in grades K-5, bring them along for SLC’s FREE Rookie Day. It’s the perfect opportunity for campers to become acquainted with SLC and experience a day at camp.  Please let us know if you are interested in this opportunity for your child(ren), and a member of camp's staff will contact you.
  • The 1902 Society empowers every camp alum, parent, grandparent, and friend to fulfill Surprise Lake Camp’s mission: to provide the magic of summer camp to every child, regardless of ability to pay. Back in 1902, the camp’s founders established SLC as a life-changing summer home where cost would pose no barrier. Today’s 1902 Society Members carry forward that legacy.
  • The proceeds of this 50/50 Raffle will assist the Alumni Association in its mission to support camp and the SLC Scholarship Fund.
  • I understand that use of the camp’s facilities involves terrain, activities, and group living arrangements and interactions that may be new to me/my family, and that they come with certain risks and uncertainties beyond what I / we may be used to dealing with at home. I am aware of these risks, and I are assuming them on behalf of me/my family. We realize that no environment is risk-free, and so I will instruct my family on the importance of abiding by the camp’s safety rules, and I represent that all members of my group will be familiar with these rules and will obey them. Except to the extent caused directly by the negligence of Surprise Lake Camp, I further agree to save and hold harmless Surprise Lake Camp, its owners, agents, and employees, from any cause of action or claim brought against them by me, including any judgment, settlement, or award, along with costs of defending against this claim, including attorney’s fees, proportionate to and to the extent of our liability.
