Alumni Day 2024

The SLCAA invites alumni and their families to Alumni Day 2024!

Deadline to register: Friday, July 19

We are so happy for the return of an in-summer Alumni Day!

There are several activities planned for the day – swimming, boating, an old-fashioned round-up, a swim-a-thon, a BBQ, and more!

You’ll also be able to stop by the SLC museum, learn more about different ways of giving back to camp, and shop the SLC “Swag Store” to purchase a souvenir and show off your camp spirit. (Current or Lifetime Members of the SLC Alumni Association receive a 10% discount!)

Please be sure to pack blankets or chairs, a bathing suit, towel, sunscreen, and anything else you think you’ll need for a day at camp.

For those of you who may have future campers, we are pleased to offer your kiddos the chance to participate in Rookie Day!  If you have kids (or grandkids) in grades K-5, this is the perfect opportunity for them to become acquainted with SLC and experience a day at camp.  Please let us know in the form below if you are interested in this opportunity for your child(ren).

Want to make a weekend out of it?  We’ve arranged for hotel room blocks and we’ll be gathering the night before Alumni Day for an Alumni Day Eve Lawnfest!  More details about this can be found by clicking here.

ALUMNI DAY FEE

Children 15 and under are FREE.

$18 per person (ages 16 and up) for current Annual or Lifetime members of the SLC Alumni Association.

$36 per person (ages 16 and up) for non-members of the SLC Alumni Association.

In today’s day and age, and especially in an environment that prioritizes safety for children and guests, camp must have control and information regarding who is on the grounds. Therefore, we require pre-registration of all Alumni Day guests. • General Rules for Alumni Day
  GENERAL RULES FOR ALUMNI DAY 1. Every attendee/guest needs to wear a wristband. 2. Alumni Day is NOT a Visiting Day. Most campers will be out of camp for a large part of the day. When they return, they will not be allowed to visit with their families. 3. No pets or alcohol permitted on grounds. 4. All parking is on the ball field. 5. Smoking is permitted in the designated smoking section behind the canteen (and never near campers). 6. Alumni may not enter living quarters of staff or campers. 7. Alumni should not socialize with staff while they are working or disrupt the camp routine. 8. All dining rooms are off limits to all alumni and visitors. 9. Alumni are not permitted to enter Teenside until the scheduled time. 10. Alumni under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. 11. A deep water test is required for anyone who wants to swim in deep water. Please listen to the lifeguards while at the lake or pool.
