Friends and Family Fun Day 2026

Play, Picnic, Enjoy A Campfire . . . Choose one or all at this 2nd annual Spring event at SLC!

Join us for a fun day at camp with your friends and/or family.  Guests will have the opportunity to participate in Kickball, Volleyball, Pickleball, Basketball, Lawn Games, and more.  The day will end with a campfire by the lake, complete with s’mores!

Sunday, May 17 * 9am-4pm

The cost for Family Fun Day is $25 for SLC Alumni Association Members and $30 for non-members.

($100/$120 for families of 4 or more) All proceeds will benefit Surprise Lake Camp.

Morning snacks and s’mores will be provided.  Please bring your own bagged lunch/picnic food.

Check-in will begin at 9am and games begin at 10am.

Schedule

9:00am: Check-in begins.  Light snacks will be available until 11am.

Activities begin at 10:00am. You can join one of our organized games or tournaments, or feel free to choose your own adventure. Lawn Games, light Arts & Crafts activities, and Sandcastle Building will be available all day long.

10:00 am: Pickleball Tournament

11:00am: Basketball in the Gym

12:00pm:  Lunch by the Lake

1:00pm:  Beach Volleyball Tournament

2:00pm: Kickball Game

3:00pm: Campfire, Singing, & S’mores

4:00pm: Nestling & Departure

Please Remember:

• All participants must register in advance (see the form below). If you have not registered in advance, you will not be allowed to enter Camp.
• Each family must fill out their own registration form. You may not register for another family.
• Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
• Buildings at Camp will be closed except for bathrooms, gymnasium, and dining hall in the Main Building.
• No guests are permitted on Teenside
• Sorry, NO PETS are allowed at Camp.
• Please bring your own lunch, snacks, and drinks.
• Dress in layers. It can be quite chilly in the morning, and will likely warm up
  throughout the day.
• Bring a camera for great photo opportunities!
• In the unfortunate case of rain, this event will be cancelled and refunds will be issued.
