Overnight at Home

Hey SLC!

It’s Seth, Gabby, Shayna, and Bradley coming at you with an important ANNOUNC-… MESSAGE!

Our favorite part of camp is the overnight. Packing up your sleeping bag, water bottle, bug spray, sweatshirt and maybe a pack of Uno cards for a night at one of the outposts with your bunk mates. We love to gather round the camp fire and have spent so many nights out amongst the stars all over SLC. Our favorite place to have an overnight is the Hinterlands.

Though we can’t all be together this summer at SLC to have an in person overnight, we CAN share a unique overnight experience online. We thought it would be fun if we all had our own sleepover on August 8th at 8pm (click here to register). You can sleep outside in a tent, in your living room, or have your brother and sister sleepover in your room. It is totally up to you!

If we get a great night, maybe you’ll even see some stars! Many of you are purchasing a Mission Possible! box which included some glow in the dark star stickers!

We want to see all of your great ideas so we will meet via Zoom at 8:00pm on August 8th, where we can talk about what we are planning for your overnight, and share some of our favorite overnight stories. Maybe you will even eat hot dogs (only spicy mustard please) and hamburgers for dinner like we would if we were at first outpost. Everyone can attend the Zoom in their pajamas! There will be a prize for best pajamas.
