Freestyle Rap Workshop

Join SLC and Freestyle Fitness NYC, an international community initiative espousing life and language tools through the vehicles of freestyle and composed rap, for a Virtual Rap Workshop.

Co-facilitated by SLC alum Lex Rush (MTV, The Village Voice) and Freestyle Fitness NYC Founder BS (Freestyle Love Supreme, Tommy Boy Records), we’ll use freestyle and composed rap basics to embrace our inner vocabulary and inner-child through play and rhythmic creation. No prior experience necessary!

The cost to participate is $80, and a portion of the proceeds will benefit the Surprise Lake Camp Alumni Association.  All ages are welcome!

Freestyle Fitness NYC is an international community initiative espousing life and language tools through the vehicles of freestyle and composed rap. FF is place for adults to be their authentic selves, play, and celebrate progress through series of unique mental workouts. We channel the energy of a street cypher with the structure of a lesson plan. All skill levels welcome! Work on yourself while having fun.
